Drillwell Ltd - Drill Collars

Drill Collars are manufactured in house by our very own Drillwell engineers. They are a bespoke design made from solid high tensile alloy steel bar with centre bore gun drilled. We can manufacture the Drill Collars with or without spanner flats.

They are used to add weight to the drill string immediately behind the bit in order to provide a straighter hole.
